Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a larger bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. If using chocolate chips, fold them into the dough.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
