Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (3–5 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract and yogurt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped apples and pecans evenly.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.

- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Warm the caramel sauce and drizzle it over the cooled cake, allowing it to flow over the sides.
