Description
Banana Magic Cake is a unique and delightful dessert that transforms into three magical layers during baking: a custard-like bottom, a soft and fluffy middle, and a light cake top, all infused with sweet banana flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Add eggs, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, stirring gently.
- Slowly stir in the milk until the batter is thin and smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and gently shake to distribute evenly.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.
- Slice into squares and serve. Enjoy!
