  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup butter (for the Oreo crust)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for the frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in boiling water until the batter is thin.
  5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cakes to cool completely in the pans before removing them.
  7. For the cheesecake filling, beat cream cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  8. In a separate bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter and powdered sugar to form a crumbly mixture.
  9. Place the first layer of cake on a serving plate, then spread the cheesecake filling over it.
  10. Add a layer of the Oreo cookie crumb mixture and top with the second layer of cake.
  11. Spread the remaining cheesecake filling on top and sprinkle with more Oreo cookie crumbs.
  12. Chill the cake for at least 2 hours before serving to allow it to set.
