Description

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using homemade dough, roll it out on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness. Place on a parchment-lined baking tray or pizza stone.
  2. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a border for the crust. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange the fresh blackberries on top of the ricotta. Optionally, sprinkle mozzarella cheese for extra melt and flavor.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the top. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and crispy and cheese is bubbly.
  5. Remove from oven, garnish with torn basil leaves, and optionally drizzle with honey and balsamic glaze. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
