  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Zest of 1 large orange
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract, orange zest, and orange juice.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in white chocolate chips if using.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool in the pan for 15–20 minutes, then lift out using parchment. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
