- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/3 cup blueberry jam
- For the Streusel Topping:
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Prepare the streusel by combining flour, brown sugar, cubed cold butter, cinnamon, and salt. Cut butter into the dry mix until crumbly. Refrigerate.
- Cream softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
- Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in fresh blueberries. Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Add a dollop of blueberry jam on top of each cookie and swirl gently. Sprinkle chilled streusel topping generously over each cookie.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden at the edges but soft in the center.
- Cool cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- You can use frozen blueberries if fresh ones are not available.
- Add lemon zest for a bright, citrusy twist.
- Cookies are best eaten the day of baking but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
