Description
This comforting Blueberry Crumble combines sweet, juicy blueberries with a golden almond-studded crumble topping. Perfect served warm with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.

- 6 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (for crumble)
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed (for crumble)
- 2 tsp. lemon zest
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, cut into 1/2” cubes
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- Ice cream or whipped cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix blueberries, lemon juice, 1/3 cup flour, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup light brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp salt. Toss gently and transfer to a 2-quart baking dish or 9” pie dish.
- In another bowl, combine 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup light brown sugar, lemon zest, baking powder, and remaining 1/2 tsp salt.
- Add butter cubes to the dry mixture and work with fingers until crumbly.
- Stir in toasted sliced almonds.
- Sprinkle crumble mixture over blueberry filling.
- Place dish on a baking sheet and bake for 30–35 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
- Let cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.

- Substitute gluten-free or almond flour for a gluten-free version.
- Use coconut oil or vegan margarine for dairy-free option.
- Swap blueberries with raspberries, blackberries, or peaches for variation.
- Top with ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
