This Caramel Apple Cinnamon Roll Lasagna is a delicious layered dessert made with gooey cinnamon rolls, caramel-drizzled spiced apples, and a luscious cream cheese topping. It’s the perfect fall-inspired treat that combines the best of cinnamon rolls and apple pie.

  • 2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 2 cups diced apples (peeled and cored)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and set aside the icing for later. Flatten each cinnamon roll slightly with your hands.
  3. In a bowl, toss diced apples with granulated sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  4. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer flattened cinnamon rolls on the bottom.
  5. Spread half of the apple mixture over the rolls, then drizzle with half of the caramel sauce.
  6. Repeat with another layer of cinnamon rolls, remaining apple mixture, and caramel sauce.
  7. In a separate bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Spread this over the top layer of cinnamon rolls.
  8. Pour heavy cream evenly over the entire dish to help keep it moist.
  9. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling at the edges.
  10. Let cool slightly, then drizzle with additional caramel sauce and serve.

Notes

  • You can use pears or peaches instead of apples for a twist.
  • Add chopped walnuts or pecans between the layers for added texture.
  • Let the lasagna rest before slicing to help it set better.
