  • 2 cups diced apples (peeled)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy, then add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined, then gently fold in the diced apples.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before drizzling with caramel sauce.
