Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy, then add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined, then gently fold in the diced apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before drizzling with caramel sauce.
