- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the chilled butter and mix until the texture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add ice water gradually, mixing until the dough comes together. Shape into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a medium saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring, until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted. Let cool slightly.
- Roll out the chilled dough on a lightly floured surface and fit into a 9-inch pie tin. Trim excess and prick the bottom with a fork.
- Pour the cherry chocolate filling into the crust. Optionally, sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes, until crust is golden and filling is bubbly.
- Remove from oven and allow the pie to cool for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the filling to set.
