Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan thoroughly with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk. Stir just until everything is incorporated—avoid overmixing.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared Bundt pan. Add the remaining batter on top, then gently swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Optionally, drizzle with chocolate glaze once cooled.
