- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, light brown sugar, and ground cinnamon to create the filling.
- Spread the cinnamon filling evenly over each triangle of dough.
- Roll up each crescent from the wide end to the tip, then place them seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 9–12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Meanwhile, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract (if using) until smooth to make the glaze.
- Let the twists cool slightly, then drizzle with glaze and serve warm.
Notes
- Use vegan butter and non-dairy milk for a dairy-free version.
- Add chopped pecans, raisins, or mini chocolate chips to the filling for variation.
