Description

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, light brown sugar, and ground cinnamon to create the filling.
  4. Spread the cinnamon filling evenly over each triangle of dough.
  5. Roll up each crescent from the wide end to the tip, then place them seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 9–12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Meanwhile, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract (if using) until smooth to make the glaze.
  8. Let the twists cool slightly, then drizzle with glaze and serve warm.
