- 3/4 cup fat-free milk
- 3/4 cup reduced-fat plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup pitted fresh or frozen dark sweet cherries, thawed
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix oats, milk, yogurt, and honey. Stir well until combined and oats are coated evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, ensure fruit is thawed if frozen. Toast walnuts in a pan over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until fragrant and golden.
- Stir the chilled oatmeal, then divide into bowls. Top with cherries, blueberries, and toasted walnuts. Add extra honey if desired. Serve immediately.
