  • For the Crumb Topping:
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the granulated sugar and continue mixing until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract and mashed bananas.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
  7. In a separate bowl, prepare the crumb topping by mixing flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until crumbly.
  8. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and pour in the banana bread batter. Spread evenly.
  9. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the batter.
  10. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
