Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 12 slider buns (mini burger buns)
  • 1 cup coleslaw (store-bought or homemade)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the beef chuck roast generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Place the seasoned beef in the Crockpot and pour the sautéed onions and garlic over it. Add BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the beef is tender.
  5. Remove the beef, shred it with two forks, and return it to the Crockpot to mix with the sauce.
  6. Lightly toast the slider buns until golden brown.
  7. Assemble the sliders by adding pulled beef and coleslaw to the toasted buns.
