Description

Delicious and rich double chocolate muffins that are moist and packed with chocolate flavor, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Line a muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease each cup. Divide the batter evenly among the cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!

Notes

  • Store muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
  • For freezing, wrap muffins tightly in plastic wrap and place in a freezer bag.
  • Reheat in the microwave or oven before serving.
