  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, melted butter, granulated sugar, and salt. Mix until it resembles wet sand.
  3. Press the mixture into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. In another bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk, shredded coconut, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  6. Pour the coconut filling evenly over the pre-baked crust and spread gently.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
  8. Let the bars cool completely on a wire rack.
  9. Once cooled, optionally dust with powdered sugar and cut into bars.
