- 3 large eggs

- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy (about 3–5 minutes).
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then mix in the yogurt or sour cream and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the sliced peaches and lemon juice gently until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

- You can substitute fresh peaches with canned or frozen (thawed and drained).
- Add nuts like pecans or almonds for extra crunch.
