Description

Frozen yogurt bark is a creamy and crunchy frozen treat combining Greek yogurt, chocolate, strawberries, and granola for a refreshing and indulgent snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 32 oz. (4 cups) 5% plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.25 cups chocolate granola, separated
  • 67 medium strawberries, sliced
  • 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Line a medium baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and cocoa powder until smooth and uniform.
  3. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate granola into the yogurt mixture.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly on the lined baking sheet, about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Top with sliced strawberries and sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup chocolate granola, pressing gently to incorporate.
  6. Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  7. Drizzle melted chocolate over the yogurt bark evenly.
  8. Freeze the baking sheet for at least 2 hours until fully solidified.
  9. Remove from freezer and break into pieces; store in a freezer-safe container.

Notes

  • Use coconut or almond yogurt for a dairy-free or vegan alternative.
  • Swap maple syrup with agave, honey (if not vegan), or stevia as preferred sweeteners.
  • Try carob powder instead of cocoa for a different flavor.
  • Use gluten-free granola or nuts/seeds if gluten-sensitive.
  • Substitute strawberries with other berries or fruits like blueberries, raspberries, or bananas.
  • Use vegan chocolate chips or other chip varieties like butterscotch or white chocolate for variation.
