Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
