- 2 cups frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
- ¾ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Spray an 8-inch springform pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Set aside.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and bake. Let cool completely in the pan. If using premade brownies, skip this step.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the 60% cocoa chocolate chips in 1-minute intervals, stirring between each until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and butter until smooth and creamy. Add the cooled melted chocolate and mix until well combined.
- Fold in the thawed non-dairy whipped topping and mini chocolate chips gently until fully incorporated.
- Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the cooled brownie base using a spatula. Smooth the top.
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for 60 to 120 minutes until firm.
- Just before serving, drizzle the top with hot fudge or chocolate sauce if desired, and slice to serve.
