  • 2 cups frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
  • ¾ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Spray an 8-inch springform pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and bake. Let cool completely in the pan. If using premade brownies, skip this step.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the 60% cocoa chocolate chips in 1-minute intervals, stirring between each until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and butter until smooth and creamy. Add the cooled melted chocolate and mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in the thawed non-dairy whipped topping and mini chocolate chips gently until fully incorporated.
  6. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the cooled brownie base using a spatula. Smooth the top.
  7. Refrigerate the cheesecake for 60 to 120 minutes until firm.
  8. Just before serving, drizzle the top with hot fudge or chocolate sauce if desired, and slice to serve.
