Description

A delightful dish that combines juicy steak with sweet corn, all enveloped in rich garlic butter.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups of fresh corn kernels (or frozen if fresh is unavailable)
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons of fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the steak by cutting it into bite-sized pieces and seasoning with salt and pepper. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the steak pieces for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and sear for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and corn to the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low, add butter and thyme, and stir to combine.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  7. Serve warm on a dish.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in a skillet over low heat or freeze for up to 2 months.
