Ingredients

- 1 pound of ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups of fresh corn kernels (or frozen if fresh is unavailable)
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons of fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Prepare the steak by cutting it into bite-sized pieces and seasoning with salt and pepper. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak pieces for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and sear for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and corn to the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, add butter and thyme, and stir to combine.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve warm on a dish.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in a skillet over low heat or freeze for up to 2 months.
- Use fresh garlic and high-quality steak for the best flavor.
