Description
A delicious recipe for Grilled Peach BBQ Chicken Skewers, perfect for summer barbecues with a sweet and savory flavor combination.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (about 450 g) chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 ripe peaches, pitted and cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (preferably your favorite brand)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped (or 4–5 sprigs for garnish)
- 4–6 skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, barbecue sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the cubed chicken breast to the marinade and toss until well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Thread the marinated chicken and peach wedges onto the skewers, leaving space between each piece.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 200°C). Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the peaches are caramelized.
Notes
- Don’t skip the marinating step for flavor and tenderness.
- Avoid overcrowding the skewers for even cooking.
- Brush with more barbecue sauce during the last few minutes of grilling for extra flavor.
