Description

Grilled Summer Fruit Skewers are a vibrant and healthy dessert or side dish featuring peaches, strawberries, and pineapple. Lightly grilled and drizzled with honey, they’re a refreshing treat perfect for BBQs or picnics.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 peaches, sliced
  • 1 pint strawberries, sliced
  • 1 pineapple, cut into large cubes
  • 8 skewers, soaked in water for 20 minutes
  • Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Honey, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grill rack.
  2. Slice peaches, strawberries, and pineapple into skewer-sized pieces.
  3. Thread fruit onto soaked skewers, alternating for color and variety.
  4. Place skewers on grill, drizzle lightly with olive oil, and season with kosher salt.
  5. Grill for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until fruit is tender and grill-marked.
  6. Remove from grill and drizzle generously with honey before serving.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers to prevent them from burning on the grill.
  • Substitute honey with agave or maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • Try adding other fruits like melon, nectarines, or grapes.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream, yogurt, or fresh mint for extra flair.
