- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down if applicable.
- Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes without moving it to develop a golden-brown crust.
- Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until nearly cooked through.
- Pour the honey mustard glaze over the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze is sticky.
- Remove from heat, transfer to a serving plate, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
- Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
- For freezing, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil; can be frozen for up to three months.
