Description

A delightful blend of sweet and tangy flavors, this Honey Mustard Salmon Recipe features tender and flaky salmon coated in a rich honey mustard glaze.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down if applicable.
  4. Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes without moving it to develop a golden-brown crust.
  5. Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until nearly cooked through.
  6. Pour the honey mustard glaze over the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze is sticky.
  7. Remove from heat, transfer to a serving plate, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
  • Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
  • For freezing, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil; can be frozen for up to three months.
