A delicious and beautiful Honey Peach Layer Cake made with layers of fluffy cake, peach preserves, and honey buttercream frosting.

- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- 1 cup peach preserves (for filling)
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (for frosting)
- 4 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
- ¼ cup honey (for frosting)
- Fresh peaches, sliced (for decoration)
- Additional honey (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk.
- Divide the batter evenly among the three prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to wire racks.
- Beat the softened butter for the frosting until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar and honey.
- Assemble the cake by layering with honey buttercream and peach preserves between each layer.
- Frost the top and sides of the cake with honey buttercream.
- Decorate with fresh peach slices and drizzle additional honey on top.
- Slice and serve at room temperature.
