Instructions
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Mix until it resembles wet sand. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish. Chill for 30 minutes.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until incorporated. Add sour cream, key lime juice, and lime zest. Blend until smooth.
- Whisk the heavy whipping cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form. Gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture to create a fluffy texture.
- Spread half of the cream mixture over the chilled crust. Add another optional layer of graham crumbs, then spread the remaining cream mixture. Smooth the top and refrigerate for 4-6 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, whip the remaining heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread on top of the lasagna and garnish with lime zest and slices.
