  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3–5 minutes.
  4. Add the egg, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough mounds onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
