Maple Cinnamon Pecan Bake is a delightful treat that combines the warm flavors of maple syrup and cinnamon with crunchy pecans, perfect for breakfast or as a sweet snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Butter or cooking spray for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped pecans, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Stir well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until evenly coated. Transfer to a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for up to a week.
  • To reheat, microwave for a few seconds or warm in the oven.
  • For a nut-free version, replace pecans with sunflower seeds.
