Ingredients
- Slider buns – 12 small buns
- Fresh mozzarella – 12 ounces, sliced into rounds
- Ripe tomatoes – 2 medium, sliced into rounds
- Basil pesto – 1/2 cup
- Balsamic glaze – 1/4 cup
- Arugula – 2 cups
- Olive oil – 2 tablespoons (for toasting)
- Salt and pepper – to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and slice the slider buns in half horizontally.
- Drizzle the cut sides of the buns with olive oil and toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Spread basil pesto on the bottom half of each bun, then layer with mozzarella and tomato slices, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Add a handful of arugula on top of the tomato slices.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the arugula.
- Complete the sliders by placing the top half of each bun on the assembled ingredients.
- Serve the sliders on a platter, warm or at room temperature.
