Description

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed if possible)
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest (fresh)
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill while you prepare the filling.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract, orange juice, and orange zest and mix until well combined.
  3. Whip heavy cream in another bowl until medium peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. If using, dissolve gelatin in 2 tablespoons of warm water, let it bloom for 1 minute, then fold it into the filling for a firmer cheesecake.
  5. Pour the filling over the crust, smoothing the top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Once set, remove the cheesecake from the springform pan, slice, and serve chilled.
