  • 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until fully blended.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Fold in chopped apples, and if using, add nuts and raisins or dried cranberries.
  6. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
