Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups ripe peaches, peeled and diced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup crumbled biscuit topping (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Prepare the peaches by peeling and dicing them, then cook with 1/4 cup sugar for 5-7 minutes until soft.
- Blend the peach mixture until smooth, leaving some chunks for texture.
- In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, remaining sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Fold the blended peach mixture into the ice cream base until fully incorporated.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Churn the chilled mixture in an ice cream maker for 20-25 minutes until soft-serve consistency.
- Add the crumbled biscuit topping during the last few minutes of churning.
- Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
- Scoop and serve, optionally drizzling with caramel sauce or adding more crumbled biscuits.
Notes
- Store leftover ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer.
- If too hard, let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before scooping.
- For a creamier texture, churn longer or stir every 30 minutes if using a shallow dish.
