A quick, no-bake treat combining creamy peanut butter, crunchy Cheerios, and soft marshmallows for a chewy, satisfying snack bar perfect for busy households.

- 4 cups Cheerios (or any puffed cereal)
- 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/3 cup honey or corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prepare an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine peanut butter, honey (or corn syrup), and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth and well combined.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir until they soften but do not completely melt.
- Remove from heat and add the Cheerios. Mix until the cereal is evenly coated. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Press down firmly with a spatula to pack the mixture tightly.
- Let the bars cool at room temperature for 1–2 hours, or until fully set.
- Slice into bars and enjoy!
Notes
- Use parchment paper for easy bar removal.
- Substitute peanut butter with almond, sun, or soy nut butter for allergies.
- For a vegan version, use maple syrup and vegan marshmallows.
- Press the mixture firmly in the pan for well-shaped bars.
