Description

A quick, no-bake treat combining creamy peanut butter, crunchy Cheerios, and soft marshmallows for a chewy, satisfying snack bar perfect for busy households.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups Cheerios (or any puffed cereal)
  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/3 cup honey or corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine peanut butter, honey (or corn syrup), and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  3. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until they soften but do not completely melt.
  4. Remove from heat and add the Cheerios. Mix until the cereal is evenly coated. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Press down firmly with a spatula to pack the mixture tightly.
  6. Let the bars cool at room temperature for 1–2 hours, or until fully set.
  7. Slice into bars and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use parchment paper for easy bar removal.
  • Substitute peanut butter with almond, sun, or soy nut butter for allergies.
  • For a vegan version, use maple syrup and vegan marshmallows.
