Description

Peanut Butter Chocolate Cups are a rich and indulgent treat that combines creamy peanut butter and luscious chocolate into a delightful dessert. These easy-to-make cups have a smooth texture, a satisfying crunch (if using graham crackers), and a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark chocolate)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers (optional)
  • Sea salt for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a muffin tin with paper or silicone cupcake liners.
  2. Melt half of the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
  3. Spoon a small amount of melted chocolate into each liner to form a base layer and refrigerate for 10 minutes to set.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Once the chocolate base is set, add a generous tablespoon of the peanut butter mixture to each cup and flatten slightly.
  6. Melt the remaining chocolate and pour over the peanut butter layers to cover completely. Tap the muffin tin to remove air bubbles.
  7. Refrigerate the filled cups for at least 30 minutes until fully set.
  8. Remove from the muffin tin and serve. Optionally, sprinkle with sea salt.

Notes

  • Use sunflower seed butter or soy nut butter for a nut-free version.
  • Choose vegan chocolate to make the recipe fully vegan.
  • Graham crackers can be substituted with gluten-free options or omitted.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or cayenne for extra flavor.
