Description

These gooey S’mores Brownies combine a rich, fudgy brownie base with a crunchy graham cracker topping, melty chocolate chips, and golden toasted marshmallows for a nostalgic, campfire-inspired treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) of unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 ½ cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar until fully combined. Let it cool slightly.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Remove from the oven and immediately top with chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbs.
  9. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the marshmallows are puffed and golden brown.
  10. Let cool completely before slicing into squares and serving.
