Description

Strawberries & Cream Tiramisu is a fruity twist on the classic Italian dessert. Made with layers of mascarpone cream, strawberry jam, and soaked ladyfingers, this no-bake treat is rich, refreshing, and perfect for spring or summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 Tbsp. confectioners’ sugar
  • 6 cups heavy cream, divided
  • 16 oz. mascarpone, room temperature
  • 48 ladyfingers
  • 2/3 cup triple sec (or substitute with orange juice)
  • 1 (13-oz.) jar strawberry jam
  • 3 Tbsp. crushed freeze-dried strawberries

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of confectioners’ sugar with 3 cups of heavy cream. Beat on medium-high speed until medium peaks form, about 3 minutes.
  2. Add the room-temperature mascarpone and mix until just combined. The mixture should be creamy and slightly loose.
  3. In a shallow dish, mix the remaining 3 cups of heavy cream with the triple sec or orange juice.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger into the liquid for about 15 seconds per side. Do not oversoak to avoid breakage.
  5. Line the bottom of a 13″x9″ dish with half of the soaked ladyfingers. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly on top.
  6. Loosen the strawberry jam if necessary and spread it over the mascarpone layer without mixing it in.
  7. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight.
  9. Before serving, sprinkle the top with crushed freeze-dried strawberries for garnish.

Notes

  • Mascarpone can be substituted with cream cheese or soft ricotta for different textures.
  • Use coconut cream instead of heavy cream for a dairy-free version.
  • For gluten-free, substitute ladyfingers with gluten-free ones or sponge cake.
  • Fresh strawberry puree can replace jam for a more natural flavor.
