- 4 large flaky croissants
- 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter (for spreading)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded rotisserie chicken, mayonnaise, diced celery, chopped green onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Carefully slice each croissant in half horizontally.
- Spoon the chicken salad mixture onto the bottom half of each croissant.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken salad in each croissant. Place the top half back on and spread butter on top.
- Place the filled croissants on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
