Description

A refreshing Watermelon Kiwi Lime Sorbet that combines sweet watermelon, tangy kiwi, and zesty lime for a perfect summer treat.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups of ripe watermelon, cubed (about 1 medium watermelon)
  • 4 fresh kiwis, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup of fresh lime juice (preferably freshly squeezed)
  • 3/4 cup of sugar (adjust based on sweetness preference)
  • 1/2 cup of water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the watermelon by cutting it in half, removing seeds, and scooping out the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Blend the watermelon cubes until smooth, optionally straining for a smoother texture.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the blended watermelon puree with chopped kiwi, lime juice, sugar, and water. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
  5. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn until soft-serve consistency, or pour into a shallow dish and freeze.
  6. If using the shallow dish method, stir every 30 minutes for 3-4 hours until fully frozen.
  7. Serve the sorbet in bowls or cones, garnished with fresh kiwi slices or mint leaves.
