Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Add buttermilk and stir until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  7. Pat the dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut into rounds.
  8. Place biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh blueberries for best flavor.
