Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish while the oven preheats.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Pour in the buttermilk and mix gently until just combined.
- Pour the biscuit batter into the melted butter without stirring.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Drizzle additional melted butter over the top after baking.
- Allow to cool slightly, cut into squares, and serve warm.
