Ingredients
Scale
- 3 medium apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup water
- Cooking spray (for air frying)
- Optional: additional cinnamon sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Prepare the apples by washing, coring, and cutting them into thin wedges or fry-shaped pieces.
- Make the batter by combining flour, cornstarch, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl, then mixing wet ingredients separately and combining.
- Coat each apple wedge in the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
