Description

This Easy Eggnog Poke Cake is a festive dessert that combines the flavors of eggnog with a moist cake, perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup eggnog (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the yellow cake mix, eggnog, eggs, vegetable oil, and nutmeg until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Poke holes all over the cake using a fork.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix the whipped topping, powdered sugar, and eggnog.
  8. Spread the mixture over the cake, filling the holes.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
