Description

A delightful dish of orzo pasta cooked in garlic butter, combined with mushrooms and fresh spinach.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they soften.
  4. Stir in the orzo and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and let it simmer until the orzo is tender, about 10 minutes.
  7. Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.

  • You can add grated Parmesan for extra flavor.
