- 500 grams (1 lb) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Prepare the steak by cutting it into bite-sized cubes and seasoning with sea salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak cubes in a single layer for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned, then remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt the unsalted butter, then add minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme, sautéing until fragrant.
- Return the seared steak bites to the skillet and toss in the herb butter, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving platter and serve warm.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in a skillet over low heat or freeze for up to 2 months.
