Description

A delightful blend of sweet and savory flavors, this Honey Pecan Salmon features a honey glaze that caramelizes beautifully, creating a crispy exterior while keeping the salmon moist and tender inside.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup crushed pecans
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Brush the honey mustard mixture generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Sprinkle the crushed pecans evenly over the salmon, pressing them down gently.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
  • To reheat, place the salmon in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
  • For freezing, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil; it can be frozen for up to three months.
