Description
A traditional Hungarian dish made with chicken, paprika, and sour cream.
Ingredients

- 1 kg chicken pieces
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 tablespoons paprika
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 400 ml chicken broth
- 200 ml sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
- Add chicken pieces and brown on all sides.
- Stir in paprika and garlic.
- Add bell pepper and chicken broth.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Stir in sour cream and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Notes
- Serve with egg noodles or dumplings.
- Adjust paprika based on your spice preference.
- For a thicker sauce, let it simmer uncovered for a few minutes.
