Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons green tea leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Pistachios and almonds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pan.
  2. Add green tea leaves and baking soda, stir well.
  3. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the water reduces by half.
  4. Whisk the tea vigorously to create foam and enhance the color.
  5. Add milk and continue to boil until it reaches a creamy consistency.
  6. Stir in sugar and cardamom powder, mix well.
  7. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped pistachios and almonds.

Notes
