- 4 medium ripe nectarines, pitted and sliced
- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- A pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced nectarines and blackberries. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Toss gently and transfer to a greased 9-inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix rolled oats, remaining brown sugar, flour, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Pour melted butter over the mixture and stir until crumbly.
- Evenly distribute the oat topping over the fruit filling.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
- Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
- Can be frozen before baking; thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.
